Fair Share

Users are entitled to a fair share of the CPU resources. While CPU usage is unmetered, excessive and continuous usage that impacts other users' experiences is not permitted.

Prohibited Actions

Activities such as cryptocurrency mining, running intensive computational tasks without prior approval, or any process that monopolizes the CPU to the detriment of others are prohibited. Our services may automatically detect and suspend servers based on this.

Automated Limiting

Gapple reserves the right to implement automated CPU throttling measures if a user's usage is deemed excessive.

Reasonable Use

Storage is provided on an unmetered basis; however, it must be used reasonably and in accordance with the intended purposes of our services.

Prohibited Content

Storing illegal content, copyright materials without permission, or any data that violates our Terms of Service or the law is strictly prohibited.

Data Hoarding

Excessive hoarding of data or the use of storage for non-service related purposes is not allowed.

Bandwidth Allocation

While we don't limit bandwidth, actions that excessively consume bandwidth, such as hosting public file-sharing services, streaming large amounts of data continuously, or any other high-bandwidth activities without prior approval, are prohibited.

DDoS Protection

Users must not engage in or become a source, intermediary, or destination of denial-of-service attacks or conduct activities that may interfere with network infrastructure.

Service Integrity

Users must not engage in any activity that could harm or impair the performance of Gapple's services. This includes attempting to bypass any usage restrictions or security measures in place.

Responsibility

Users are responsible for ensuring their use of services does not interfere with the services provided to other users.

Usage Monitoring

Gapple monitors resource usage to ensure compliance with this Fair Usage Policy. This includes but is not limited to CPU, storage, and network usage.

Violation Handling

If we identify any usage that violates this policy, we may take corrective actions, including but not limited to: informing the user of the violation, temporarily limiting the user's resource usage, suspending or terminating the user's services.

Amendments

Gapple reserves the right to amend this Fair Usage Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website. Continued use of our services after such changes will constitute acceptance of the new policy.
